Welldales mixed colour frilly giant double poppy seeds produce a decorative California poppy mix with ruffled double and semi double flowers in shades of orange, yellow, white, rose, lilac and scarlet. Also known as Eschscholzia californica, these easy to grow annual flowers are ideal for sunny borders, bedding displays, gravel gardens, rockeries, driveway banks, slopes, patio pots, containers and informal meadow style planting. California poppies perform best in full sun and poor, well drained soil, making them a useful choice for low maintenance landscaping and dry garden areas where rich compost or heavy feeding is not needed. The compact plants grow to around 35cm tall and can self seed in suitable conditions, helping to create natural drifts of colour with very little effort.
